“Barry Day and Sons have been maintaining 50 miles or so of watercourses for the Internal Drainage Board in the River Waveney district for the last 30 years.
This involves dredging of silt and clearance of excess vegetation also repairs to banks, earthmoving and tree cutting as appropriate.
They do a good job for us with minimal supervision, mindful of the need to achieve effective Land Drainage whilst protecting the environment in accordance with Environment Agency guidelines.
